Mandarin Restaurant in Fountain Valley
The Mandarin Restaurant in Fountain Valley is located on Brookhurst, between Talbert and Ellis. This is one of our favorite places to go for Chinese food. They have a bright dining area filled with plants. Their prices are reasonable. Two people can get lunch for less than twenty dollars, including tip. We also have leftovers to take home. Hot tea and soup come with your entree. The food is fresh and delicious. The vegetables are crisp and the food is not greasy. Meals are served family style. They seat you, take your order, and serve your food quickly. Their customer service is excellent.

Fred's on PCH in Huntington Beach

Fred's is located on Main Street and Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach. You enter Fred's by climbing the stairs on Main Street. Fred's has a large patio that gives you a great view of the Huntington Beach Pier and the beach. They serve delicious Mexican food that is not too greasy. Their prices are reasonable. Fred's has a full bar and is a place where adults like to meet in the evening.
We enjoy having lunch at Fred's. During the day, the view is great and there is less of a crowd, especially during the week.

Mile Square Park Golf Course
The restaurant at Mile Square Park Gold Course has some of the best food around. They serve home style meals at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is a large inside bar and an outside snack area. The large patio overlooks the golf course.
Mile Square Golf Course Restaurant has some great breakfast deals for golfers. Today, they were offering large breakfasts for $1.99 if you showed your golf receipt. Mile Square Park Golf Course and Restaurant is located in Fountain Valley.

The Old Ship in Santa Ana

The Old Ship is located on Seventeenth Street in Santa Ana, east of Bristol. The customer service at The Old Ship is excellent. You feel like you are dining on an old ship with a bunch of pirates. The food is fresh and not from a can. They have a full bar with several beers on tap. The clam chowder is full of vegetables and clams, and the best we have ever tasted. This unique restaurant offers great food.There is also another The Old Ship in Fullerton.

Arriba in Fountain Valley
Arriba in Fountain Valley is located on Brookhurst and Talbert. This is a great place to get healthy fast food for a reasonable price. Their kitchen is visible and very clean. They serve tacos, burritos, salads, bowls, quesadillas, and more. Arriba is both kid and dog friendly. They have outdoor tables, booster seats, and a children's menu.
Arriba is crowded at lunch time on week days, but the line moves fast. The people who work at Arriba are friendly, efficient, and creative. They are also busy on the weekends now that they have developed their own rescue package.

The Lazy Dog Cafe is located on Beach Blvd between Edinger and Heil. This restaurant has a dog theme. The bar is shaped like a dog house. The pictures on the wall are of all kind of dogs. There are some dog statues and the mints are shaped like dog bones.
The food is good and the service is excellent. The people who work at the Lazy Dog Cafe are some of the friendliest most efficient folks in town. The restaurant is clean and the kitchen is visible to diners. They clean the tables right away, so you are seated as quickly as possible.
Lazy Dog Cafe has reasonable prices, lots of choices on their menu, and a full bar. There is something for everyone on the menu. They serve pasta, salads, fish, meat, soup, sandwiches, burritos, tacos, stir fries, and more. They have excellent desserts. When you order the dog bowl sundae, your ice cream is likely to arrive in a dog bowl.
The restaurant is cozy with booths and comfortable tables. There is a fireplace inside and also one outside on the patio. You can dine on the spacious patio when the weather is nice. We have even spotted a few canine companions lounging at the feet of people who are dining outdoors.
